Forest School is an inspirational learning programme that offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. We are fortunate to be able to use the expertise of qualified Forest School practitioners from Orgill Primary School to lead the introduction of Forest School education into our own curriculum.
All pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 will get the opportunity to spend time each academic year developing their outdoor skills in our designated area of Lowther Forest. This is a really exciting time for pupils and they look forward to it very much. Each class is allocated an afternoon each week for a half term at some point during the year. Photographs of the adventures of each class will be shared on the class pages of this website.
